Does Size Really Matter?

I hate symbols. I really do. For those who believe in them, what does it say about politicians who wear tiny flag lapel pins when instead they could be unfurling a 75 feet by 150 feet monster everywhere they go. Shhh, don’t give them any ideas!

This Disgusts Me

This is truly unpatriotic. They are flying the flag of traitors. It is a divisive symbol. It represents a time when the United States were not united. The Confederates went to war because they did not want to be a part of the United States anymore. Why some in the South are proud of this is beyond me. Why they are proud of their ancestors who committed treason is beyond me. This is not about a cultural identity, it is about a national identity. The Confederacy is dead, come back to the United States.

Mike Huckabee On The Proper Way To Fly The Confederate Flag

He wants the flag to fly upside down, while dragging on the ground:

"In fact, if somebody came to Arkansas and told us what to do with our flag, we'd tell them what to do with the pole, that's what we'd do." Mike Huckabee

It’s the Christian thing to do.

Does this mean that if someone came to Arkansas and said, “Fly the confederate flag at the capital”, he’d still tell them what to do with the pole? How considerate of him.
