The Leprechaun Game

I like games. Do you like games? Let's play The Leprechaun Game! It's easy!

To play The Leprechaun Game all you have to do is find something that has the word God, Jesus, or religion in it. Then simply substitute this word with the word leprechaun.

Here's some examples:

  1. In leprechauns we trust.
  2. Freedom of leprechauns.
  3. Our leprechaun who art in heaven.
  4. What would leprechauns do?
Fun and informative, unless you are a Christian. Christians won't understand this, and they will be too busy being offended to even try.

Atheists will be amused, Christians will not. Everybody wins.

This game is a variation of The Teapot Game and The Dragon Game, as well as The Flying Spaghetti Monster Game:
  1. In teapots we trust.
  2. Freedom of dragons.
  3. Our Flying Spaghetti Monster who art in heaven.
  4. What would teapots do?

"We've only been flipped off like twice"

From Atheists read religious texts for charity by Erin Rowley:

Nat Jackson read passages from the Gospel of the Flying Spaghetti Monster Saturday to crowds walking past the Allen Street Gates.

Before reading verses about how the Spaghetti Monster created the universe, he put on a black eye patch, the required attire for the Spaghetti Monster's believers.

That text was one of more than a dozen religious books -- including the Bible and the Quran -- put on display by the Penn State Atheist and Agnostic Association, of which Jackson (senior-anthropology) is president. Passersby could donate money in return for hearing club members read aloud from the book of their choice.

The "Bible-A-Thon" raised about $503, which will go to Doctors Without Borders, an organization that brings medical care to people worldwide.

Club members manned their table of religious texts from 9 a.m. to about 7:15 p.m. Some of them held up signs that read, "Make atheists read the Bible."

Captain Mosey And The Eight "I'd Really Rather You Didn'ts"

From The Gospel of the Flying Spaghetti Monster:

While brooding atop Mount Salsa because he couldn't find a pirate ship, Mosey the Pirate captain (a parody of Moses) received some advice from the Flying Spaghetti Monster in the form of ten stone tablets. These were called the "I'd Really Rather You Didn'ts" by the FSM, the "Commandments" by Mosey, and the "Condiments" by his Pirate gang. While there were originally ten "I'd Really Rather You Didn'ts", two were dropped on the way back down the mountain, with eight remaining. This event "partly accounts for Pastafarians' flimsy moral standards". The FSM's commandments address the treatment of people of other faiths, worship of the FSM, sexual conduct, and nutrition.

Here are my three favorite "I'd Really Rather You Didn'ts"
1. I'd really rather you didn't act like a sanctimonious holier-than-thou ass when describing my noodly goodness. If some people don't believe in me, that's okay. Really, I'm not that vain. Besides, this isn't about them so don't change the subject.

2. I'd really rather you didn't use my existence as a means to oppress, subjugate, punish, eviscerate, and/or, you know, be mean to others. I don't require sacrifices, and purity is for drinking water, not people.

6. I'd really rather you didn't build multi million-dollar synagogues / churches / temples / mosques / shrines to my noodly goodness when the money could be better spent (take your pick): A. Ending poverty B. Curing diseases C. Living in peace, loving with passion, and lowering the cost of cable. I might be a complex-carbohydrate omniscient being, but I enjoy the simple things in life. I ought to know. I AM the creator.

Missouri State University And The One True God

I wonder who is sending the hate mail? Didn’t Jesus say something about loving your enemies?
