The United Nations Does What The United States Couldn't

The Bush way:

Adm. Timothy Keating, on US Navy ships leaving Myanmar after trying for three weeks to deliver aid:

We have made at least 15 attempts to convince the Burmese government to allow our ships, helicopters and landing craft to provide additional disaster relief for the people of Burma, but they have refused us each and every time.
The United Nations way:

From UN helicopters deliver aid to Myanmar delta:
United Nations helicopters fanned out across Myanmar's Irrawaddy delta Monday, a U.N. official said, ferrying critical supplies to villages struggling to survive since a devastating cyclone struck more than five weeks ago.
Let’s not mention that the Bushies view the United Nations as a worthless piece of crap. Let's also not bring up Katrina.
